Bill Clinton is a hypocrite

A hypocrite: see Bill Clinton. That is how my dictionary reads now that I read the most recent comments from former President Clinton. Clinton has displayed his true colors once again when discussing Katrina and Iraq. As you read this keep in mind the things Bill Clinton has said in the past in regards to the war.

Bill Clinton has decided to dog the President about his handling of Iraq and the hurricane. Despite his former support of the Iraq war Clinton now wants to focus only on weapons of mass destruction, price tags and go at it alone. All of which are old arguments that are very tired. When it comes to the Iraq war we all know how Clinton felt while he was president. He made the case himself for the war. That poses the question, how would Bill have handled the war and how would he have paid for it. The answer is he wouldn't have. He would have never gone to war and removed the Arab Fuhrer. So once again he is no help there.

Clinton also talks about how we are paying for the war and Katrina. First thing, he shouldn't care how we pay for Katrina! We take care of these people and not complain. It could be anyone of us. Second what Bill ignores is the increase to revenue to government this year. Year to date an increase of over 100 billion. Had not been for Katrina we would be paying down our debt faster than plan. And Bill, that's because of the tax cuts. We better get used to this because its time for Hillary to start her run for '08. See Ya....

All American,

Bill Clinton has always held the same viewpoint. It was correct to ask the U.N. to disarm Iraq of WMD. But he has always said that the U.S. going it alone was a big mistake.

And it does matter where the revenue is coming from to pay for Katrina. Where do you expect the money to come from? Just add it to the deficit and already enormous debt...let future generations worry about it? Note that eventually, countries will stop lending us money, until we pay them back. Even Republicans are worried about this.

Finally, revenue may have increased in the recent year (after decreasing every other year under Bush)...but only by a small percentage...very small. Revenues plummeted under Bush. Even with the increase lately, revenues are still a lot smaller than they were under Clinton. And it's also important to note that revenues as a percentage of GDP have decreased dramatically under Bush...never to have increased again. And debt held by the public has increased steadily under Bush.

So, it seems to me that numbers would provide a different picture than your opinion.

Hey i think im gonna have to agree with qt on this one.

Also, you said that some of the arguments about there being no wmds and having no allies are "old and tired." I think the only thing tired about them is that mr. redneck still hasn't answered any of them.

The software usually comes with a debt reduction calculator to help you decipher how quickly your debt will be paid off in accordance to your monthly balance payments.
